Accounting Policy Manager Senior Role

In Financial Services, we support the Group's strategy of building tomorrow's bank today for our customers, through a focus on three key priorities of trust, resilience and capital generation. Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed
  • Work closely with internal auditors and external auditors and other financial professionals to ensure that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from accounting analysis
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Innovative and able to drive results
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards
