Job Title: Senior Manager Accounting Policy

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Accounting Policy to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Services division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Group's accounting policies and practices are aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and evaluate the activities of the accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
  • Contribute to and author high-profile board papers explaining complex accounting matters.
  • Sign off on material transactions from an accounting perspective.
  • Provide group-wide accounting training and updates.
  • Analyze and solve accounting problems.
  • Prepare or lead the preparation of reports summarizing and forecasting business activity and financial position.
  • Produce and review accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use, in accordance with accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with the ability to draw insights from accounting analysis.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Innovative and able to drive results.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
  • Good knowledge of international accounting standards.
