Job Opportunity

This challenging role is for an experienced Registered Nurse who wants to work in the Opioid Treatment Program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-level case management as a Registered Nurse within the drug and alcohol service.
  • Administer essential treatments including methadone, buprenorphine, and Buprenorphine/Naloxone according to NSW laws.
  • Collaborate with a team to plan, implement, assess, and evaluate nursing care that is safe, effective, and patient-centred.
  • Contribute to care that supports vulnerable members of the community.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current Nursing Registration (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in Acute Medical / Mental Health Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated awareness of Drug and Alcohol dependence issues and Opioid Treatment Programs.
