We provide industry-specific workers compensation insurance to over 1,600 accommodation hotels, pubs, and clubs, offering a rewarding and challenging opportunity within the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of physical and psychological claims, liaising with multiple stakeholders to oversee the end-to-end claims process. This may involve determining claim liability, managing treatment, processing payments, attending case conferences, and implementing recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
  • Your empathetic and supportive approach will help injured workers navigate the recovery journey with confidence.
Your Responsibilities:
  1. Proactively manage mental health and physical claims, utilizing exceptional customer service and decision-making skills to make a positive impact on someone's life daily.
  2. Prepare and implement strategies regularly within timeframes to achieve optimal outcomes and minimize claim costs.
  3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
  4. Facilitate active participation of the injured worker and their employer in any return-to-work and recovery planning.
  5. Manage rehabilitation providers and approve rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
  6. Undertake ongoing reviews related to entitlements and payments.
