As a Cleaner at Uniting AgeWell, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, staff and visitors. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure all areas of the residence are kept clean and hygienic
* Contribute to a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors
* Cleaning in line with chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
* Maintain resident privacy and dignity
* Identify and report maintenance issues for our residents

About You:

* You are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents
* You demonstrate a high level of kindness and respect for residents' property and privacy
* You have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment (preferred but not essential)
* You have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices (preferred but not essential)
* You understand infection control procedures
* You work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision as required and as part of a team
* You thrive in a team and appreciate one-to-one interactions
* You are committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)

Essentials for Working in Aged Care:

* Current Working With Children Check card
* Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
* Australian working rights
* Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
