About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized care and assistance to clients, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation
  • Monitoring and communicating client condition to ensure their health and well-being
  • Working collaboratively with our team to develop and implement client care plans
  • Ensuring all in-home care is provided in a personalized, caring, and respectful manner

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support to older adults
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • A Certificate III in Ageing, Certificate III in Individual Support, or similar qualification
  • A full driver's license and suitable transportation
