Senior Engineering Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineering Designer to join our outstanding engineering team in Berkeley Vale, NSW.
About the Role:- As a key member of our engineering design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering design solutions that meet our customer's needs.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative design solutions that drive business growth.
- Your expertise will be essential in upholding Sanitarium's values and contributing positively to our team and business culture.
- Design machinery and plant from concept through to final engineering drawings, ensuring a high standard of quality.
- Develop plant P&IDs and factory layouts using AutoCAD and Plant3D, showcasing your creative problem-solving skills.
- SUPERVISE CONTRACTOR INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF EQUIPMENT.
- Contribute to large-scale process plant 3D design, pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
- Develop project specifications, budgets, and timelines, demonstrating your attention to detail.
- Develop scope documents and specifications for new equipment, aligning with our company's vision.
- Provide hands-on technical support in the operation and commissioning of new equipment, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic or Process/Chemical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience working in project teams in food and beverages, pharmaceutical, or construction environments.
- Proven track record of designing new machinery and plant.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or Plant3D.
- Experience supervising contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Understanding of WHS obligations and hygienic design principles in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the organization.
