Job Title: Inclusive Practice Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Inclusive Practice Specialist to join our school community. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated professional who can enhance wellbeing and inclusive practices across the school as we transition to the Disability Inclusion model.

The successful applicant will form an integral role in our School Improvement Team, whilst leading our Tier 2 Support and Enrichment PLC, comprising of allied health professionals, teachers and education support staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers to ensure practices are inclusive for all children
  • Lead the development and implementation of inclusive practice strategies
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to enhance student outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to students with diverse needs
  • Contribute to the development and review of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in education or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong commitment to inclusive practice and student-centred learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • High level of organisational and time management skills
