Job Title: External Audit Supervisor

The role of an External Audit Supervisor involves leading a team of auditors in the provision of independent audit, assurance and risk advisory services to a wide range of clients across various industries and sectors.

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing relevant audit engagements in line with Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards, including financial statement audits, reviews, and specific procedure engagements for diverse entities.

Key responsibilities include conducting audits in accordance with International Standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and developing and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of standards.

This role also requires strong project management skills and ability to perform under pressure, as well as exceptional communication skills, methodical problem-solving abilities, and strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce or Finance or a Business-related degree.
  • Completed or progressing CA ANZ or CPA accreditation.
  • Experienced professional with recent external audit experience is required.
  • Proven history of delivering high-quality audit engagements.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to perform under pressure.
