Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to drive operational and strategic outcomes within our global, high-growth business. As the second-in-command to our Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee financial operations, take ownership of financial planning, analysis, and strategy, and partner with senior leaders to provide insights that guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee bookkeeping activities with an external firm using Xero and Shopify integrations, review payroll and superannuation obligations on a weekly basis, and manage daily bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis Expertise: Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports, perform month-end tasks including accruals, reversals, journal postings, fixed asset register updates, amortisation, depreciation, and MTM variance analysis.
  • Strategic Insights Provision: Partner directly with the CFO/COO to deliver robust budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities, provide strategic insights to support commercial decisions, growth initiatives, and operational improvements, and present financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership and the board.
  • Compliance & Risk Management Assurance: Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations across Australia, the US, Europe, and Asia, support internal and external audits, and coordinate statutory reporting requirements.
