About the Role- The successful candidate will join our high-performing Customer Payments team, guiding customers through payments and debt recovery processes.
- Displaying exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment with empathy for customers and other stakeholders.
- Supporting customers to resolve and negotiate payments, deadlines or payment plans in a high-volume setting.
- Monitoring queues, interpreting reports and making data-driven decisions to maintain collection activity and manage daily workload.
- Proactively managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Assessing customer files and administering collection solutions.
- Ability to review and understand collection files quickly to support customer requirements during calls.
- Ensuring customer data is up-to-date and meets industry compliance standards.
- Developing knowledge and understanding of our products and technology.
- 1-2 years' experience in collections roles.
- 1-2 years' experience in similar support roles managing queues, emails and calls.
- Able to listen and understand customers' underlying problems even if not clearly communicated.
- Task-focused, people-first person with a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient and comfortable with technology.
- Natural sense of urgency with attention to detail.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Will actively seek feedback from others to learn and develop.
