Pathology Collection Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pathology Collection Specialist to join our team. This role will involve collecting pathology samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals and community clinics.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. They will also possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting pathology samples from patients using approved techniques and equipment
- Ensuring accurate and efficient collection of samples, while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless sample collection and processing
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required
Requirements:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Specimen Collection (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
