Business Director

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Business Director - Power/Energy Market Leader. This is a key role that will be responsible for leading and growing Beca's client activities and relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Business Strategy: Build on and carry out Beca's Power/Energy Strategy and articulate this across Beca and the Victorian Power/Energy market.
- Client Relationship Management: Be the trusted advisor with key client stakeholders and sponsors within the region.
- Business Development: Strengthen existing connections and build relevant new relationships across the Victorian market.
- Internal Partnerships: Partnering internally with other adjacent Business Directors and Managers within Beca on common strategies and goals.
- Market Segment Planning: Play a key role in market segment planning - identifying potential growth revenue sources and blue-sky opportunities throughout Victoria.
- Industry Networking: Network within the Power/Energy industry to raise Beca's profile in our delivery of key projects, including generating new business opportunities and representing Beca in a variety of forums.
- Market Trend Analysis: Champion the Victorian sector market, identifying market trends to guide investment on Power/Energy transition actions or tools.
- Business Development Collateral: Contribute to the development of Best-in-Class business development and marketing collateral for making Beca the go-to consultant for the market.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced leader, having worked within the Power Transmission or related industry, with strong experience in the consulting sector. You will thrive when faced with ambiguity and when the going gets tough, you will overcome obstacles by recognising long term opportunities.
You will be a relationship builder, with the capability to initiate, manage and develop strategic and operational relationships internally and externally to influence and coordinate people and skillsets to effect change to benefit our communities, people and clients. You will be someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement as well as connecting the Beca network to bring the best of our business to the region.
