Business Director

The Business Director is a key member of our senior living community team, responsible for overseeing all accounting, human resources, and business office activities. This includes managing accounts receivable and payable, maintaining associate files, generating resident statements, and processing payroll.
As a Business Director, you will work closely with the Executive Director and our corporate accounting team to ensure the community operates within budgetary guidelines. You will also assist with administrative tasks, such as generating reports and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Maintain associate files and assist with new hire paperwork
- Generate resident statements and maintain accounts
- Process payroll semi-monthly and maintain PTO records for all associates
- Operate the business office within budgetary guidelines
- Assist the management team, including the Executive Director and Home Office staff
- Perform administrative tasks in support of the Executive Director
- Address resident concerns regarding bills and accounts
- Serve as Manager on Duty as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong AP/AR and payroll experience required
- Experience in HR duties and associate benefits preferred
- 1-2 years experience in bookkeeping or office manager/coordinator position
- Property Management software a plus but not a requirement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, residents, family members, and vendors
