We are seeking a skilled Customer Category Manager to champion the voice of retailers into our business and represent the voice of categories into retail. This role will help shape the category's future direction while ensuring that aligned category-led vision transforms into pragmatic and actionable plans implemented with sales teams, marketing teams, and retailers.

  • As a key member of our team, you will partner and support sales teams through joint business planning and process facilitation.
  • You will lead the customer range review process following our framework for best-in-class reviews.
  • Your responsibilities will include planning, briefing, customer-specific analysis, insight creation, and content delivery.
  • You will co-author final recommendations and presentations.
  • You will work closely with the Customer Marketing Manager on a joint Category and Marketing plan.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to distil complex information into narratives that unify diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • A degree qualification.
  • Credential FMCG industry experience preferably with breadth across functions such as Category, Strategy, National Accounts, Marketing, and/or Commercial.
  • A proven track record leading projects and high level of influence across team members.
  • Understanding of FMCG industry best practices and ability to leverage learnings from other categories, channels, and markets.
  • Creative and critical thinking skills with proven ability to form judgement.
  • Commercial acumen with strong analytical background with experience analysing complex data from various sources, drawing insights, and forming recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as well as challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to adopt a pragmatic approach to deliver category solutions.
  • Problem solving and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
