Logistics Operations Coordinator
In our fast-paced production environment, we manufacture a wide range of products with varying complexities. As our Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless execution of our product manufacturing process.
Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers, freight forwarders, and courier services. This involves developing efficient shipment plans, communicating effectively with external partners, and monitoring supplier production schedules and delivery timelines.
You will also be responsible for analyzing logistics performance metrics, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Additionally, you will work closely with our Supply Planner to generate purchase orders and negotiate with external freight forwarders to balance cost and lead time for optimal shipment options.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, who can think critically and strategically. If you have experience in supply chain management, logistics, or purchasing, and enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans
- Analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Negotiate with external freight forwarders to secure optimal shipping rates
- Work closely with our Supply Planner to manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain operations
Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in supply chain management, logistics, or purchasing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems
