
Community Research Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to support our research team in the Community Paediatrics Research Group. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about understanding and tackling health issues, particularly in the area of child health and wellbeing.
About the OpportunityThis part-time position is available for 12 months and involves supporting research activities, including participant recruitment, data collection and analysis, and reporting. The successful applicant will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth execution of research projects and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new research ideas and initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities- Support the recruitment of participants for research studies and manage participant data
- Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of research projects
- Collect and analyze data using a range of methods and tools
- Assist with the preparation and submission of ethics applications
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians and community members
- You will possess a degree in a relevant field, such as health science or psychology, and have experience working in a research or healthcare setting
- You will be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- You will be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including people with lived experience of neurodisability
- You will be committed to ongoing learning and professional development
