This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic research team as a Research Assistant.

Job Summary:

The role involves working on an MRFF-funded research project, EPIC-ND, which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of social prescribing for parents/carers of children with neurodisability. This project presents a unique chance to contribute to a vital area of study and develop valuable skills in data collection and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Recruit participants and obtain informed consent
  • Collect data using quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Enter data into databases and ensure accuracy
  • Communicate participant information and data to team members
  • Prepare and submit ethics applications
  • Coordinate report production and data verification
About You:
  • You will have an undergraduate degree in Health, Allied Health, Psychology, or a relevant discipline
  • You should possess knowledge and experience working with people with chronic health conditions
  • Experience with computer systems and applications, including REDCap and NVIVO is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
  • You should be able to work collaboratively and independently
Requirements:
  • You must hold valid work rights for Australia
  • A Working with Children Check clearance is necessary
  • Completion of all role required pre-employment checks is mandatory
