Overview

Join Roy Morgan and be part of a team conducting face-to-face interviews that capture the views, experiences, and behaviours of Australians. Our Field Research Officers play a vital role in collecting accurate, high-quality data that informs government, business, and community decisions across the country.

What you'll do

  • Visit assigned households and confidently initiate conversations at the door
  • Build rapport quickly, manage refusals and objections respectfully, and ensure informed consent
  • Conduct accurate, structured interviews on a wide range of topics
  • Record observations, follow safety and privacy protocols, and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Plan your weekly schedule to meet agreed hours, including at least one weekend day

All interviews are conducted using Roy Morgan's secure systems. We provide full training, a clear field manual, and ongoing support from experienced field managers.

  • Tech-comfortable: You\'re confident with tablets and following on-screen scripts/protocols.

Nice-to-have: experience in field interviewing, door-to-door outreach, call centre/customer service, community work, or education services.
