We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Prudential Governance team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing the application of Prudential Management Policy and conducting centrally managed activities related to CPS 220.
Key Responsibilities- Promote Prudential Management Policy Awareness: Develop and implement strategies to promote general awareness of Prudential Management Policy requirements across the Group.
- Ownership Assessments and Reporting: Perform ownership assessments of Prudential Standards and Reporting Standards in accordance with internal requirements, and prepare reporting on key prudential matters and Risk Management Declarations (RMD) for senior management and the Board Risk Committee.
- Implementation and Monitoring: Monitor the implementation of Prudential Management Policy and drive efficiency improvements in the execution of underlying processes.
- Annual Risk Management Declaration and Prudential Attestations: Plan, support, and prepare materials for the annual CPS 220 Risk Management Declaration (RMD) Due Diligence meetings and Prudential Attestations.
- Liaison and Coordination: Liaise with Prudential Assurance, Group Audit, and External Auditors in relation to testing required for prudential obligations, and coordinate the CPS 220 independent comprehensive triennial review.
- Compliance Advisory Experience: Several years of compliance advisory experience or other relevant business experience such as governance, law, operational risk, or audit/assurance.
- Stakeholder Management: Extensive stakeholder management skills, including editorial and business writing.
- Knowledge of Prudential Standards: Basic knowledge of CPS220, with prior knowledge of prudential standards ideal but not essential.
- Frameworks and Governance: Frameworks, governance, and policy development and implementation experience.
