About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Manager to join our team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to drive high-impact media and social coverage that supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR and earned media strategies for consumer brands, particularly those in the travel and tourism space
  • Craft clear and compelling written content with strong news value
  • Create brand-aligned content for a range of communications needs, including media pitching and social
  • Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and implement communications plans
