Health, Safety and Environmental Professional

The incumbent will lead the development and implementation of a health, safety and environmental management system that aligns with industry best practices. This includes conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards, as well as developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities include managing workers' compensation claims, overseeing injury management processes and evaluating the HSE performance of suppliers and contractors.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards and management systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
