Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Environment and Data Management Specialist to lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of end-to-end non-production environments (on-prem/cloud) at Westpac Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test environment and test data strategies for the domain, program of work based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve environment-related issues and ensure test environment policies, processes, and standards are followed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as health check processes, tool frameworks, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Define and implement key test environment and test data metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate test data refresh and masking activities for enterprise applications, ensuring data compliance requirements are met.
  • Work in Agile environments and have experience with industry-standard test environment and test data management tools/platforms.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly in incident, change, and problem management.

Requirements

  • Experience in implementing test environment and test data strategies for the domain, program of work based on business requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with contention management, resolving test environment conflicts across programs of work.
  • Ability to ensure test environment policies, processes, and standards, including controls to identify and mitigate internal issues and risks are followed for your domain.
  • Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams to resolve environment-related issues.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as health check processes, tool frameworks, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Experience defining and implementing key test environment and test data metrics.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coach and mentor vendor staff to perform to the highest of their ability.
  • Coordinating test data refresh and masking activities for enterprise applications, ensuring data compliance requirements are met.
  • Ability to work in Agile environments.
  • Experience with industry-standard test environment and test data management tools/platforms.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly in incident, change, and problem management.
