We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Environment Manager to join our team at Westpac Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, and maintenance of end-to-end non-production environments (on-prem/cloud).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of test environment and test data management strategies for programs.
  • Ensure optimal functionality and availability of test environments to support program needs and facilitate efficient testing processes.
  • Manage test data refresh and masking activities, gathering compliance requirements, and translating them into effective data masking and sub-setting approaches.
  • Oversee ongoing test data services and support for multiple projects, while actively engaging with stakeholders to drive technical discussions and provide regular reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve environment-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience implementing observability of non-production environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with program requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with contention management, resolving test environment conflicts across programs of work.
  • Ability to ensure test environment policies, processes, and standards, including controls to identify and mitigate internal issues and risks are followed for your domain.
  • Excellent leadership skills to coach and mentor vendor staff to perform to the highest of their ability.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly in incident, change, and problem management.
  • Experience with industry-standard test environment management tools/platforms.
