Job Title: Health Safety and Environmental Administrator

We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Administrator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring a safe working environment.

The role of the HSE Administrator is to provide administrative support to the HSE function. This includes implementing and maintaining the Group, Division and site HSE strategy, management system and improvement plans.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and maintaining the HSE strategy, management system and improvement plans
  • Supporting site management to achieve the HSE strategy, management system and improvement plans
  • Monitoring injury and illness reports to ensure follow-ups are complete
  • Assisting managers and supervisors in implementing their HSE responsibilities
  • Maintaining and coordinating induction, training, information and instructions for HSE
  • Ensuring corrective actions are communicated and completed
  • Maintaining and improving HSE documentation

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in WHS preferred but not essential
  • Practical experience in process, hardware/software, services quality assurance/control
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience interacting with management through to shop floor personnel
  • Practical knowledge of the production/construction and/or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Sound computer skills in use of MS OFFICE products
