Key Account Professional

The Key Account Professional will manage existing retailer relationships across a group of emerging customers. This includes driving sales out activities, working autonomously within a small designated geographical territory with allocated accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Account Growth: Own and manage assigned accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  • Store Execution: Plan and execute over & above merchandising displays.
  • Product Expertise: Deliver face-to-face product training and demonstrations.

Requirements:

  • 1. Account Management: Ability to manage and grow assigned accounts against sales budgets.
  • Strong commercial acumen to track performance and identify growth opportunities with past account management experience.
  • 2. Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with key business partners.
  • Confidence in engaging with various stakeholders at account head office, store and regional levels.
  • 3. Effective Time Management & Planning: Ability to strategically allocate time and resources to tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
  • 4. Sales & Merchandising Execution: Competence in planning and executing merchandising initiatives.
  • Ability to influence in-store presence and product visibility.
  • 5. Training & Presentation: Effective & confident in delivering in-person product training and demonstrations.
  • Able to support initiatives that drive knowledge and engagement among retail staff.
  • 6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication: Works collaboratively with managers & communicates effectively across levels to align on strategy and execution.
