Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Tenancy Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to tenants, ensuring their needs are met and their experiences are positive.

About the Role

The Tenancy Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Supporting tenancy management by preparing documents, conducting property inspections, and identifying maintenance issues;
  • Assisting with client interviews, eligibility assessments, and providing information on housing services;
  • Preparing notices and processing rent reviews in accordance with tenancy legislation;
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective communication and resolution of tenant queries;
  • Providing administrative support to the Housing Officer, including data entry and record-keeping.

Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, time management abilities, and empathy towards vulnerable individuals. Your qualifications should include a Certificate IV in social housing or equivalent experience and knowledge of tenancy legislation and the social housing sector.
