Job Title: Sales and Event Operations Director

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to drive commercial growth, increase revenue streams, and deliver exceptional event experiences across multiple locations.

You will collaborate with our leadership team, partner with talented venue professionals, and spearhead innovation in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and events strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance commercial success, and expand market presence.
  • Grow revenue through corporate, community, and accommodation sales by building strong relationships with clients and partners, leveraging your expertise to drive business development.
  • Oversee end-to-end event delivery – from concept to execution, ensuring seamless coordination, timely completion, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term client and partner relationships through excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deliver high-quality commercial insights, budgets, and performance reporting to inform business decisions, drive growth, and optimize operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales & events team by providing coaching, training, and opportunities for growth, career advancement, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales & event leadership (hospitality, hotels, or venues) with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, achieving business objectives, and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction, leveraging your expertise to drive operational excellence.
  • Strong financial acumen with budget management experience, including forecasting, planning, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
