About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our APJC Risk team, you will play a critical role in guiding the expansion of our facilities and services in new and existing regions.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments, ensuring that our infrastructure growth is aligned with our evolving risk landscape. You will work closely with stakeholders across the APAC organization to shape the future of our infrastructure and identify potential risks and mitigations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site selection risk analysis and due diligence assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement risk-based mitigation strategies to ensure the resilience of our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure funding and manage projects to successful resolution.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and subject matter experts to ensure the highest standards of quality and expertise.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time, including international destinations across APAC.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Multidisciplinary concept/preliminary design experience.
  • Background in either Civil Engineering or Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a technical field, such as civil, electrical, mechanical, or architectural design.
  • Solid understanding of local standards and council design standards.
  • Chartered engineer or architect with accredited institute.
