About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Procurement Manager to join our AWS APJC Energy Team. As an Energy Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for owning and delivering energy supply and retail contracts for Amazon data centers across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze trends and regulations in the energy space to proactively identify opportunities that benefit Amazon
  • Work collaboratively with Amazon infrastructure and capacity delivery team to support the cost-effective energy and Utility energy compliant colocation sites
  • Deliver energy cost savings program across AWS sites and its colocation sites
  • Maximize renewable energy content in delivered energy through green tariff, physical PPAs or retailer backed renewable purchase
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Energy/Engineering/Economics/Business/Math or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in APAC energy markets, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or energy generation technologies
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers
