Building Policy Leader

The Executive Director will lead and manage the development and administration of building-related legislation. This role will drive government's reform agenda and shape the future direction of the building industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative strategies and policies that enhance built environment and asset management, aligned with government priorities.
- Provide strategic leadership to Building Policy, demonstrating public service values, encouraging continuous improvement, and supporting the vision of becoming the best public sector in Australia.
- Support the Assistant Director-General, providing strategic advice and leadership on building legislation, codes, policy, and standards.
