The City of Ryde is seeking a skilled Project Officer to join our Project Delivery Team. In this dynamic role, you will assist in the delivery of capital projects aligned with the One-Year Operational Plan and Four-Year Delivery Plan.

Your responsibilities will include providing effective project management support, drafting reports, preparing procurement briefs, and collaborating with internal stakeholders.

This fast-paced position offers hands-on experience across a variety of projects and provides a valuable opportunity for career growth within the City of Ryde.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Draft reports and prepare procurement briefs as required
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  • Contribute to the development of project plans and schedules
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects from initiation to completion
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and achieve positive outcomes
  • Excellent communication abilities, including researching and understanding new subject areas
  • Strong analytical and process improvement skills to enhance project efficiency
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation
  • Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
