Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our payroll team and deliver end-to-end payroll services for circa 3500 employees.

The ideal candidate will manage the processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay cycles across awards, enterprise agreements and individually contracted employees.

They will ensure all obligations as an employer are managed and met in a timely manner, including FBT, ATO and Return to Work. They will also lead process improvement and leverage our payroll system to enhance employee experience, support educating line leaders and drive efficiencies into our practices.

About the Role:
  • Manage the payroll function, overseeing payroll officers and support functions
  • Provide effective leadership and direction to the payroll team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of payroll services with strong customer service focus
  • Ensure payrolls are accurate, timely and compliant with relevant awards, agreements and legislations
  • Lead and develop a payroll team through change and optimisation projects
Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business, Human Resources or related field
  • SIGNIFICANT experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of UKG, Payroll Metrics and iChris software applications
  • A strong financial or commercial acumen
  • A people leader who can inspire team performance and lead teams through change and optimisation projects
