Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for up to 600 employees, including data entry, leave calculations, and adjustments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Process weekly payroll for up to 600 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Leave Calculations: Calculate leave entitlements for employees, including annual leave, sick leave, and carers leave.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve payroll discrepancies with care and professionalism.
  • Communication: Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and effective manner.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate personnel data in Northline's systems.
Requirements
  • Payroll Experience: Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing, preferably in Australia.
  • Skill Set: Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Award Interpretation: Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation in Australia.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
