About the Role
Certis Security Australia is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Aviation Screening Officer. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff at Sydney Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and staff
- Conduct thorough security checks on passengers and their belongings
- Operate X-ray machines and explosive trace detection equipment
- Conduct physical searches of passengers and their belongings
- Monitor walk-through metal detectors
- Work collaboratively with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional conduct
- Valid NSW driver's license and vehicle (for early morning shifts)
- Security license (1AC) preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work a rotating shift roster, including nights and weekends
