Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to take on new challenges and develop their skills in a dynamic environment. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely payment from customers and maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable, including generating invoices, processing payments, and reconciling statements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve any issues related to accounts receivable
  • Assist with other financial tasks as required

Requirements:

  • A professional and proactive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail in dealing with high volume data
  • An ability to work with high degrees of numeracy and the ability to negotiate and solve problems
  • Pleasant telephone manner and demonstrate high levels of customer care
  • The ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrated highly effective communication skills – both written and oral
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel
