Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Front End team as a Customer Service Representative at Costco Perth Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our members, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet members, assist with loading merchandise, answer questions, and provide information on special promotions.
  • Front End Operations: Transfer items not on the belt to a separate cart or flatbed, assist with getting supervisor verification for high-ticket items, and pack member orders into boxes.
  • Inventory Management: Retrieve items such as boxes, register supplies, and merchandise requested by members to keep lines moving smoothly.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the register and general Front End area, report and clean spills and trip hazards immediately.
  • Equipment Operation: Retrieve carts and flatbeds from the parking area using a rope with clasping hook, and operate equipment such as carts, flatbeds, and pallet jacks.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary, and provide prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Education/Training: None required
  • Licenses/Certifications: RSA preferred (state specific)
  • Experience/Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, cash handling (preferred), and basic math skills
  • Other Requirements: Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
