Key Financial Leadership Role

The organization is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. This strategic position plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's financial health by overseeing finance and payroll functions, providing expert advice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.

About the Position

  • Lead the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial operations are executed.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and debt collection functions to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage end-of-month and end-of-year reconciliations and reporting to provide transparency and accountability.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, as well as financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, such as the ATO and ASIC, to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and achieve organizational goals.
  • Implement process improvements and internal controls to enhance financial management and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance are essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance or accounting role, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • A strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and payroll requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and analytical capability.
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
