Job Title: Senior Practice Leader

Overview:

This senior role oversees the daily operations of an accredited dental practice. As a hands-on leader, you will inspire and manage a dedicated team to deliver high-quality dentistry and exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of dental assistants and receptionists, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maximising productivity.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate the purchase of dental stock, optimising use and minimising wastage.
  • Hands-on involvement in dental assisting and reception duties, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
  • Embed our core values and culture across the team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Expertly manage patient bookings, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Regularly review and improve dental procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce infection control policies and procedures, guaranteeing a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry guidelines.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum 1 year's experience as a Dental Practice Manager or equivalent, with leadership experience.
  • Dental Assisting Cert III or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional approach.
  • Organisational skills, including time management, multitasking, and prioritisation.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Previous experience with Oasis, Examine Pro, and HAMBS advantageous.
