- Be a strategic partner for operational systems, collaborating with program or enterprise teams.
- Manage the delivery of contracted services related to capability improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops to establish processes, including defining responsibilities, developing flow diagrams, and documenting agreements.
- Establish a process review schedule to continuously improve data collection processes and advance process maturity.
- Implement mitigation strategies to address potential problems identified through analysis.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to drive change and promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Conduct training and workshops to facilitate value stream mapping and define future states.
- Support Kaizen facilitation and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and increase efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in engineering, asset management, supply chain, or logistics, or an equivalent field.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working in collaborative environments.
- Background in defence industry and knowledge of military systems, asset management, sustainment, and operational programs are highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present professionally to various groups.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain NV1 Defence security clearance.
- Ability to travel as required to meet project needs.
A background in engineering, asset management, or supply chain is preferred but not essential. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, along with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
