
Senior Assets and Facilities Coordinator

The Works Program Officer role is responsible for facilitating, organizing and participating in processes that lead to the formulation and monitoring of asset management works, tracking and reporting on the delivery to ensure the Secretary and sector managed asset strategies are effectively implemented. The role supports the development of the annual capital program, and requires knowledge and analysis of relevant asset information, stakeholder consultation and coordination of planning processes, and experience in using the Housing Integrated Information Program (HiiP), and development of database and monitoring tools.
Accountabilities- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Manage the procurement of assigned projects and engagements, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
- Ability to use analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems, identifying creative ideas and linkages to implementation on innovations.
- Contribute to proactive risk and issue management, recommend options and solutions, maintain the risk, issues and lessons learned register and produce reports as required.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.
- Actively and proactively, contribute to reporting functionality, including weekly, fortnightly and monthly reporting through to senior executive.
