Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Professional to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and guidance on preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, and upgrades, as well as troubleshooting.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in pneumatics and hydraulic systems, competent welding skills, and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

  • Assist in developing improvements within the Production Team.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Preventative Maintenance routines along with overhaul scheduling and documentation.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance assistance to operators, line maintainers, and production personnel in all manufacturing areas and departments.
  • Ensure adherence to safe work practices, site policies, and procedures, including contractor compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support and guidance on preventative maintenance, planned maintenance, and upgrades, as well as troubleshooting.
  2. Assist in sourcing parts and ordering to enable effective planned maintenance and quality repairs.
  3. Aid with team problem-solving and decision-making.
  4. Offer information and recommendations to Team Leaders and Managers to improve equipment uptime and extend equipment lifecycles.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding and experience of pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
  • Competent welding skills.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • 'Hands-on' Practical experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Occupational Health and Safety.
  • SAP Maintenance or other CMMS.
