Project Director for Melbourne Student Accommodation

Buildability Group is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the delivery of a $6 million student accommodation project in Melbourne. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring timelines, budget, and quality standards are met.

About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing construction projects of similar scale and complexity. A registered building practitioner in NSW or Victoria with a General license permitting the construction of 4-storey buildings would be highly regarded.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Liaising with the project team, subcontractors, and clients to maintain excellent communication and project coordination.
  • Traveling to Melbourne as needed to manage progress, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure compliance with building regulations.
  • Monitoring and managing all aspects of project risk, safety, and compliance.

  • A strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships across teams.
  • A willingness to travel regularly to Melbourne.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects of similar scale and complexity.
