We are transforming our business model to lead the clean energy transformation in Australia. Our purpose is to provide reliable and clean energy for our customers. We are seeking an experienced Project Director for the Hallett Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

About the Role

The successful candidate will join us in the pre FID stage and be accountable for project execution and delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring excellence in planning, costing, and governance to meet project milestones.
  2. Developing and leading the project team for successful execution.
  3. Establishing and managing key contractor relationships.
  4. Representing the project to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Managing project progress and expenditure.
  6. Monitoring and managing project risks.

About You

We are looking for an experienced EPCM style Project Director with a genuine passion for contributing to the clean energy transition. Key requirements include:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline with additional qualifications in Project Management or business.
  2. Extensive experience in engineering and construction project development and delivery in the energy sector.
  3. Commitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  4. Previous experience in delivering large development projects with government contracts and external funding.
  5. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
