Job Opportunity: Strategic HR Partner

The role of HR Advisor is a dynamic position where you will be responsible for providing expert human resources advice and support across both Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sound and informed advice to managers on employee relations matters.
  • Lead investigations and assist with the resolution of human resources issues when they arise.
  • Facilitate various business activities including employee performance reviews, award increases, culture surveys and workplace health and safety audits.
  • Support the implementation of the organization's HR strategic plan and actively participate in key projects.
  • Coordinate and support recruitment processes and activities.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to drive employee engagement and wellbeing.
  • Review employment conditions to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc team support as needed.
  • Develop and present training materials within the operations teams as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce or Business.
  • possess at least 4 years of experience in a HR position that demonstrates your ability to take the next step in your HR career.
  • Have an experienced understanding of the Fair Work Act (AU), Employee Relations Act (NZ) and applicable legislation that applies within the workplace.
  • Be skilled at addressing employee matters pragmatically and professionally.
  • Be skilled at influencing and building relationships of trust with key stakeholders.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible with travel across AU and NZ.
