Support Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily tasks such as household chores, grocery shopping, and personal care
  • Provide support with medication management, medical appointments, and other health-related activities
  • Engage clients in various activities promoting social inclusion, community access, and overall wellbeing
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster independent living skills, fitness, and healthy habits
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality support services
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold or be eligible to apply for a Blue Card for Working with Children
  • Currently hold or be eligible to apply for an NDIS Worker Screening
  • Have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Complete NDIS E-Learning modules
  • Have a smartphone with internet access
