About the Role
This position is responsible for providing a security presence at the airport, performing passenger and baggage screening services, and managing traffic flow at security checkpoints. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, respond professionally to customers and internal stakeholders, and maintain compliance procedures and safety measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Passenger and checked baggage security screening
- Managing traffic flow and screening at security checkpoints
- Providing customer service and responding professionally to customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining and following compliance procedures and safety measures
- Recording incident reports as required
Requirements
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (free paid training for the right candidates)
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain an ASIC clearance (we will fund the application)
- Customer service experience with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
