Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at CopRice Wangaratta. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the safe handling and movement of raw materials and finished goods on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of forklift equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Accurately record and report all received and dispatched goods, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to other staff members on site, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Current forklift license and ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
