Mud Technician

Job Summary:

Michels Corporation is a leading provider of energy and infrastructure construction services. We are seeking a skilled Mud Technician to join our team and contribute to our success in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the drilling mud mixing and recycling system on HDD projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
• Mix drilling mud and operate the mud recycling system and pumps, maintaining optimal mud properties.
• Collaborate with the HDD team to achieve project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in the HDD or drilling industry.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform intensive manual labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite in various locations across Australia.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment police check and medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
