Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-impact teaching strategies to improve student learning outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of teachers to achieve school priorities and improve student results.
  • Monitor and assess student learning, and use data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
  • Provide professional development and coaching to teachers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement school-wide initiatives to improve student engagement, agency, and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school, and work collaboratively with other leaders to achieve school priorities.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Qualifications to teach in the specified curriculum area(s).
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of teachers.
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development and implementation.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to inform teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
